Game Design Internship

We’re Vanilla, a mobile game studio and entertainment platform based in The Netherlands and Austria. We’re looking for a fully remote game designer passionate about casual games and bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to our projects.

Your role

• Assist in developing game concepts and narratives.
• Participate in the game development process, from brainstorming to implementation.
• Output-oriented competitor research.
• Provide support in testing and debugging games.
• Contribute ideas for new features and game improvements.

Your profile

• A keen interest in game design and development.
• Experience in using Figma.
• Basic understanding of game mechanics and user experience principles.
• Creativity and a passion for gaming.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. We really love hyper-casual games, and hope you are just as passionate about our biggest game Charades. If you are to reference to any game, it should be this one!
